These sounds will help you get things done
My favorite mixtape for deep creative work - and two other great options
So you’re trying to get some creative work done, you really need to concentrate, but the internet is full of interesting distractions and for whatever reason it’s easier for you to stay focused on a big task when you listen to something at the same time.
I think many of us need some sound on our ears to get in a productive state. So for this newsletter post, my goal is to give you 3 options for that. And I hope they help you accomplish something great today!
The first option:
This mixtape by “Kia” with deep and brooding sound scapes is NOT made with the intent do help people focus. But for me, it’s currently the best. I get my noise-cancelling headphones, put on this mixtape, and it reliably helps me to be productive. I have NO IDEA if it will have the same effect on you, but why not try it out?
I said I’m giving you three options so here are two others that have consistently worked for me in the past:
This ADHD relief sound on Youtube
I often listen to this when working in an office with lots of people around)
Weightless by Marconi Union
I mostly listen to this when I want to calm down and relax and that’s not just my thing - it was even titled “the world’s most relaxing song” - click this link to read about a study regarding this song) You can find it as an Album on Spotify as well.
I really hope that one of these options will be a valuable ressource for you.
Make some progress today!

I listen to Fakear for anything related to writing. I have been and probably will be enjoying his music for months... For reading I like to listen to ambient mixtapes from various DJs posting stuff to either Mixcloud or SoundCloud. And for anything in between I like to listen to My Analog Journey Videos on YouTube. My most important source for finding new music is Bandcamp Weekly with Andrew Jervis - the very best *One Person Discovery Engine* on Planet ☺️
„Weightless“ is available on Apple Music as well: https://music.apple.com/de/album/weightless-10-hour-version/1325524252
